Today, 2K Sports unveiled the first screenshots and new gameplay footage of their best-selling basketball game NBA 2K13. The screenshots feature cover athletes Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Blake Griffin of the Los Angeles Clippers and Derrick Rose on the Chicago Bulls. 2K Sports also released gameplay footage highlighting the Control Stick in NBA 2K13.

The future looks promising for NBA 2K13 gamers with the exciting upcoming season where gamers will get to play with the Dwight Howard, Steve Nash new look Lakers as well as the Deron Williams, Joe Johnson Brooklyn Nets and of course the "Big Three" Miami Heat with LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. Don't forget the young Oklahoma City Thunder team of Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and James Harden plus the exciting Dunk City Los Angeles Clippers team of Chris Paul and Blake Griffin making the possibilities for great virtual hoops matchups.

As an added bonus, rapper and hip-hop mogul Jay Z will executive produce NBA 2K13 with a 24-song playlist that will add a new beat to NBA 2K13. NBA 2K13 is due for release October 2nd for the Xbox 360, Windows PC, PlayStation 3, PSP and Wii. The Wii U version is expected during the holiday season.
