What does the current number one box office hit Think Like A Man and Sony’s upcoming shooter Starhawk have in common? Award-winning film, television, and video game composer Christopher Lennertz has scored both projects. Lennertz worked with Sony Santa Monica Studios and Lightbox Interactive’s on the PlayStation 3 exclusive. The score album will be released June 19, 2012 through La-La Land Records.
Lennertz has already scored over 40 feature films, five network television series, and over a dozen video games. Lennertz has achieved success in a wide variety of genres from star-studded comedies like Horrible Bosses to family films like Hop, Marmaduke, and Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore.
He is currently scoring a pilot, working title Revolution, produced by J.J. Abrams (Lost), directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man 1 & 2) and written by Eric Kripke (Supernatural). Lennertz will also work again with Horrible Bosses director Seth Gordon on Identity Thief, starring Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy. He also currently scores weekly the CW hit series Supernatural, for which he received an Emmy nomination. His other accolades include Best Original Score by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences for Gun and Medal of Honor: Rising Sun.
Along with television and film, Lennertz has scored video games scores for Steven Spielberg’s Medal of Honor, EA’s James Bond 007: From Russia with Love, and Activision’s Quantum of Solace and Gun. Most recently he scored BioWare’s critically acclaimed Mass Effect 3.
