For the longest time, Dead Space 3 has been heavily rumored, following the awesomeness that was Dead Space 2 last year.  And why not?  Fighting vicious aliens while scrambling to stay alive through tense just makes for a good time in video games.  Well, before EA could possibly announce the game at its press conference for E3, it looks like a site called All Games Beta has stumbled upon some key screenshots from the project, as well as a logo and teaser image that confirms, yup, Isaac Clarke is in for another bad day.  (But hey, at least he's not alone, right?)

Sony took the wraps of its much rumored next installment of its best selling God of War franchise with God of War Ascension. This time around, the game will be a prequel to the previous games and introduces multiplayer for the first time. While the Dreamcast was a system that faded awfully quickly, it had a few games that really resonated with its fans, even to this day. The home port of Soul Caliber brought the franchise into its prominence, and the many side activities of Shenmue kept gamers coming back looking for more distractions. And then there was Jet Set Radio, which combined extreme sports with the underground art of graffiti. Last week, the game was announced to have an HD remake, and now a few screenshots have emerged.

Following the release of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Code: Veronica X in HD for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, Capcom continues to bring their older titles to newer consoles, this time with the Devil May Cry HD Collection. The collection will include Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition.

GoldenEye is one of the classics of console FPS games. It gave players the freedom to play through levels stealthy or guns blazing and had fairly fun multiplayer. Recently, it saw a remake for the Wii, featuring motion controls and somewhat improved graphics. Now another release of the game is in the works, this time with HD graphics for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Is this game really so fun that it deserves yet another version in this short span of time? That's what I went into my hands-on with GoldenEye 007: Reloaded wondering.

It’s been a little over one week since Rage’s release, and reviews for id Software’s latest were mixed, if somewhat disappointed. A short single-player experience, a forgettable cast of heroes, and an underwhelming finale all contributed to collective boredom; hopes and interests soon turned to Doom 4 as the venerable publisher’s genuine brainchild.

One of the big improvements the PS Vita is getting over the PSP, in addition to the improved feature set and graphics capabilities, is a second thumbstick. Well, it sounds like Nintendo's rather fond of this idea, too, as they're adding a second thumbstick to the 3DS. The source comes in the form of a Japanese magazine scan, and is likely the hardware reveal Nintendo is prepping to announce before Tokyo Game Show. Read on to get your first look at it!

Dragon Quest X, long since confirmed to be a Wii title, has had a couple other surprising announcements at a recent Square Enix conference. Not only will the game be the first true Online RPG in the series, but it will also have a version released for both the Wii and Wii U. Both had been rumored, but this is the first official confirmation of these facts. More details after the jump.

Final Fantasy may be the best known and most beloved Japanese RPG series out there. It certainly seems to be the first name to come to mind when people consider the genre. There's certainly no doubt that Final Fantasy Type-0, the next Final Fantasy title to be released for the PSP, is a game many fans of the genre and the franchise are looking forward to. If you've been wondering what to expect, you're in luck because we have our hands-on impressions after getting some time with the newly available Japanese demo.

Anarchy Reigns, the upcoming online brawler from Platinum Games, has yet another character in its roster. Garuda seems inspired by the Transformers series, given his apparent ability to switch from flying vehicle to walking robot. The big, blue machine's signature weapon is the tornado drill, which you can see put to good use in Garuda's debut video.

The Secret World, the upcoming MMO from FunCom, attempts to stand out in a genre many consider awash with World of Warcraft clones. From setting to mechanics, the game looks to define itself as unique from any other MMO on the market. It certainly seems to be succeeding and, from what I saw at a recent EA event, should be loads of fun. Keep reading for my first impression of the game's setting.

Little Big Planet is an iconic franchise that truly embodies Sony's current goal of appealing to gamers of all types. Get a quick look at some of the costumes, as well as what else is in store for Little Big Planet, below.

Tri-Ace, perhaps best known for the Star Ocean series of RPGs, now has a role-playing game on the way for the 3DS. Beyond the Labyrinth, as it's called, features a young girl who may or may not be the protagonist and possibly the best graphics of any 3DS game to date. The screenshots, released by Japanese magazine Famitsu, are viewable below.

While most gaming engines are barely recognized by name, most people do know about the Unreal Engine. It got its debut in the first ever Unreal game back in 1998, developed by Epic Games. Since then, it has spawned 2 more iterations of the engine that evolved with the increasing power of PCs and consoles alike. Dana Cowley, PR Manager for Epic Games, just released a new screenshot of the updated Unreal Engine 3 on Twitter, showcasing its foliage capabilities. Needless to say, this screen is quite the looker.
The world of fighting games have become quite familiar with two franchises battling it out for supremacy in one game. We have seen many different iterations of this from X-Men Vs. Street Fighter to Capcom Vs. SNK, and all of these games have done pretty well for themselves. It would come as no surprise that eventually Street Fighter and Tekken would cross paths at some point, and they will some time next year in Street Fighter X Tekken (pronounced Street Fighter cross Tekken). Here are a few screens to give you an idea of what to expect from the upcoming fighting game.

In 2008, Microsoft launched it's first Summer of Arcade. The idea was to give extra promotion to the most deserving of downloadable titles and to offer great content during the otherwise slow Summer months. In preparation for Summer of Arcade 2011, here is a look back at the best games from previous years.

At E3, Konami had a large number of upcoming games on display, and among them was No More Heroes: Heroes Paradise. Heroes' Paradise is a PS3 port of the original Wii version, featuring updated HD graphics and Playstation Move support. No More Heroes is definitely a franchise aimed at the “core gamer” demographic, and the Playstation 3 is more widely accepted by that demographic than the Wii. Porting the game over sounds like a smart move.
