Microsoft is gearing up for the November 6 launch of Halo 4, one of the most anticipated games of the year. With rumors of Xbox 720 making its debut at E3 2013, Microsoft continues to rule the current generation console market. In August, Xbox 360 maintained its lead in the U.S. console market – marking the 20th consecutive month as the top-selling current-generation console in the U.S, according to research firm The NPD Group. 343 Industries Kiki Wolfkill talks about Halo 4 in the exclusive video interview below.

Major League Gaming (MLG) is bringing the new Halo 4 game to eSports. Days before its official release on November 6, Halo 4 will be featured as part of the competition at the MLG Fall Championship in Dallas, Texas, November 2-4. The Halo community will have the exclusive opportunity to compete in Dallas playing the highly anticipated game before it goes on sale to the public.

SAN DIEGO – Actor Daniel Cudmore is a big guy. He’s literally the same size as the real Master Chief, which made stepping into the armor a bit more natural for the big guy. The one glitch in the outfit designed by 343 Industries was that it was so bulky he wasn’t able to actually drive the replica Warthog that was built for the Vancouver, British Columbia shoot. Halo 4 fans won’t have to wait until November 6th to explore the new Halo 4 universe. Tor Books, an imprint of Tom Doherty Associates, will release the second novel in the Kilo-Five Trilogy”written by bestselling novelist and renowned game writer Karen Traviss earlier. HALO: THE THURSDAY WAR will ship in hardcover alongside a simultaneous audio edition on October 2, 2012, giving gamers a full month to explore the universe that Microsoft and 343 Industries is creating based on Bungie’s game franchise.
