A dark cloud had been hovered over the cloud gaming pioneer OnLive all day Friday as it was on death watch after reports that employees were leaving in mass with boxes in tow in the company's parking lot as the company was rumored to be prepping for a bankruptcy filing. Then late Friday, the company issued a statement announcing the sale of its assets to an unnamed buyer that would continue the cloud gaming service. Erin Andrews has made headlines over the years. The sexy sideline reporter from ESPN has become very popular with college fans and NCAA football players. She’s also won over the older female audience with her turn on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” And just about everyone knows her name – even non-sports fans – because of the infamous peephole video incident. The new Activision and Beenox The Amazing Spider-Man game doesn’t feature Andrew Garfield or any actors from the blockbuster movie that opened with over $140 million at the box office. But it does offer up Evil Dead icon Bruce Campbell as the Extreme Reporter. Campbell, who can be seen in USA Networks’ “Burn Notice” TV series, has now worked on all four Activision Spider-Man movie games. He’ll be at the Activision booth at San Diego Comic-Con 2012 to sign autographs for fans. The actor talks about going virtual in the new game in the video below.

NEW YORK CITY – ESPN reporter and “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Erin Andrews is in EA Sports new NCAA Football 13 game. Andrews was at the NFL Draft to check out the PlayStation 3 game for the first time, alongside some of the top NFL rookies including Robert Griffin III, Michael Floyd and Trent Richardson. BARCELONA, Spain (Hollywood Reporter) - The 2011 instellment of Mobile World Congress, which gathered 60,000 professionals from 200 countries, served as the official coming-out party for the next generation of Google Android smartphones and tablets.  

The Android booth featured a huge arcade section where developers from around the world showcased the next generation of mobile games. While graphics and gameplay have improved in the mobile space over the years, the new wave of smartphones and tablets will push the capabilities of these devices to the level of PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 -- and beyond even the best iPhone 4 and iPad games that are currently on the market.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Actress Emmanuelle Vaugier took a break from starring in “CSI: New York” to film Uwe Boll’s adaptation of Ubisoft’s and developer Crytek’s hit game franchise, Far Cry. Film in Vancouver, the action movie focuses on the original game’s story. Vaugier, who starred in the live action sequences of Electronic Arts’ Need for Speed: Carbon, took some time on the set to talk about the new movie, which is now available on DVD from Vivendi Entertainment, in this exclusive interview.
